In Plaza Botero, in front of the Museum of Antioquia, stands the Rafael Uribe Uribe Palace of Culture, which stands out for its Flemish Gothic or Gothic Revival style. Built in 1925 by the Belgian architect Agustín Goovaerts, the palace is a National Monument. It houses the city's historical and photographic archive;, a phonotheque, library, art gallery, and the Rafael Uribe Uribe museum hall, among other spaces.
